Taylor's Cancer Journey

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Keegan. I have created this fundraiser in hopes of helping my sister, Kirsten, and her husband, Taylor, ease their financial burden during this hard time.
From Kirsten :
"On October 24,2022, Taylor went to the ER with what we thought was gallbladder issues. We learned that the stomach pain and vomiting that he was experiencing were a result of an inflamed liver and spleen and that his white blood cell count was at 154. A normal white blood cell count should be 4-10. That day changed our life. Taylor was diagnosed with ALL- Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. What proceeded was a 25-day hospitalization that included 3 types of chemo therapy, bone marrow biopsies, and lumbar punctures. He was discharged from the hospital on November 17th being able to continue treatment at home. On January 11, 2023, we met with specialists in Nashville where we learned that Taylor will need a bone marrow transplant. This will require him to be inpatient at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville for at least 4 weeks. During this time, the doctors will work to completely kill his immune system and complete the bone marrow transplant. After the transplant is complete, we will have to reside in the Nashville area for 3-4 months to continue treatment. We are so thankful for all of our family and friends that have helped us throughout Taylor's journey so far and appreciate all of the continued support and prayers."

My sister is one of the strongest people I know and Taylor is an amazing father and loving husband, brother and son. I am hoping this fundraiser will help ease some of their burdens of paying medical bills, medications, travel expenses, and other financial expenses that come along with such a hard diagnosis. Any donations are appreciated more than you know.

If you can't donate or want to help in other ways, please check out Taylor's MealTrain to set up dinner for the family and to find out how you can make a blood donation in Taylor's name.
