On May 24th 2025, Four Nucor Teammates from Nucor Buildings Group – SC will be SAFELY embarking on a 115-mile charity relay run! The run will begin at the NBGSC Plant in Swansea, SC and conclude at the Nucor Corporate Office in Charlotte, NC.

What are we Supporting

Donations will be used to support the following:

Operation Steel Warrior (Gary Sinise Foundation)

For over ten years, teammates have raised funds for Operation Steel Warrior, a Nucor initiative that supports The Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. program which builds forever homes for severely wounded veterans and their families. Each year Nucor selects one Steel Warrior Recipient to support Nucor wide. This year Mary Dague (See story attached) is the recipient of the support!

NBGSC Teammate Fund

This teammate fund was created to support NBGSC teammates experiencing hardships in their lives. The fund enables our NBGSC family to provide impactful financial help to our teammates that really need it! Our vision for running to Corporate is that the money raised will be but a small beacon of hope in the lives of the teammates impacted by a challenging time. And that other teammates will see this and will continue to embody what it truly means to “Live Our Culture”.
