Nubian Life Sponsored Walk - Keeping Older People Connected

Nubian Life is a day centre based in Hammersmith & Fulham, with 29 years of experience providing cultural activity based care for African & Caribbean older people living with complex health and social care needs. We are recruiting volunteers to walk 6K on Windrush Day with the aim of raising £5000 to purchase a new cooker (we provide 100 hot meals per week) and new activities for our members; who are living with dementia, disability, long term medical conditions, visual and hearing impairments. The 6K sponsored walk will take place on Sunday 22nd June 2025 at 11am, the walk covers poignant places of Black History in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, and so the walk promises to be informative and fun followed by lunch, social activities and networking.
