Hi my names Lee and im starting a gofundme to try and help raise money for a charity and a foundation that means a lot to me personally.

The charity is macmillan cancer support, this charity means so much to me after losing both my parents to the battle. The charity supported both my parents until the very end and continue to support other families, I cant say how much i appreciate them.

The money i am trying to raise is for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. This also means alot to me because being an alternative person myself, I have experienced different sorts of hate also. Sophie story hits hard,her foundation and the guys involved do an amazing job educating and spreading the word about hate crime.

My story and sacrifice,

I have been on a dreadlock journey for around 8/10 years and absolutely adore my locs, with lots of time and money going towards maintaining them. I started to grow my hair out before my parents fell ill and sadly they never got to see my hair dreadlocked. This brings me to the reasoning of sacrificing my locs by cutting them off and shaving my head to raise money for charities in honour of my parents. I will run a gofundme from now until June. Then mid June I will brave the shave and upload pictures of before and after. I will donate all monies raised to the charities I have chosen.

Im asking from the bottom of my heart if you all could help me on this journey. Please kindly give as much as possible to help me achieve my goal, I would also like to add that I will donate my cut hair to charity too.
