Hi! We’re the Nigerian Students’ Association (NSA) at the University of Calgary, and we’re excited to be running this fundraiser in support of two amazing initiatives making a real difference in Nigeria.

The first is Rebecca Home (RH), a faith-based mission in Jos that provides a safe space for traumatized and abandoned young girls, rejected pregnant women, and single mothers with their children. RH focuses on rehabilitation, education, empowerment, and discipleship, helping residents recover from trauma and rebuild their lives. Currently, RH cares for 25 residents and employs 8 staff, offering schooling for children and vocational training for mothers. Since 2022, several women have graduated, empowered spiritually, mentally, and financially, and equipped to start their own businesses.

The second is APOYA, a student-led initiative in Lagos dedicated to fighting hunger. APOYA provides meals, connects people to essential resources, and supports individuals and families facing food insecurity. Hunger isn’t just a problem—it’s a daily struggle, and APOYA’s programs make a real difference.
