As part of becoming a Bar Mitzvah I am to participate in or create a program to help in the community.  Becoming a Jewish adult includes understanding the importance of Tzedakah ( social action/ giving ) 
I have been going into a local seniors residence and visiting with them and learning about their music and the memories it brings. The Alive Inside foundation supports programs to provide music and connection with youth and seniors and the Music and Memory Organization raises money to bring iPods to seniors and training to provide music memory programs. I'd like to raise money for both of these charities.
