Hi everyone, my name is Megan Heffron and I am fundraising to go to Arusha, Tanzania on July 1st for 3 weeks to volunteer in a Childcare Centre in a low-income area.

I am reaching out to you for help in funding this programme as the trip is completely self-funded. The money raised will be used to fund the trip and buy resources for the Childcare Centre.

I have always wanted to partake in a volunteer programme as I feel it is very rewarding to support children and bring joy into their lives. I have worked with children for many years and know that the early years of a child’s life are the most important for their development and growth.

I am really looking forward to this unique experience and have decided to do it on my own. I hope to learn and develop a greater appreciation for the life I am lucky to have and to share my experience and knowledge with others.
