Hello my name Is Briana Seavers and I'm in desperate need of help. I thought I was doing the right thing by going through a first time homeowners program in 2022 to purchase a home for me and my four children. I thought I could trust the realtor and that he had our best interest at heart. Inspections were completed and passed. One main repair that was done was pulling up the old carpet and placing new flooring down from one end of the house to the other. This same realtor and his team had done the work. He is a residential contractor. But my daughter found out the hard way in October 2024 that the floors were rotted through. She fell through the flooring in a bedroom. She was badly injured and placed on crutches for almost two months. Loosing her job in the process. And medical bills piling up. And them in May of 2025 I too fell through a bathroom floor resulting in 11 stitches in my leg. We kept having issues with the septic tank. Only to find out its completely outdated. All of these issues weren't disclosed during the closing of the house. After new inspections were done this year we realized they lied about the new roof as well. My homeowners insurance refuses to cover any of the repairs which has left me trying to figure this all out. This has been a horrible experience and if you could help out in anyway I'd greatly appreciate it.
