Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation
For my birthday this year I'm asking for donations to Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation. The hospice provides an incredible service and I became strongly aware of that in March as my nanny Peggy spent her final days in the Mayo unit. There she recieved great care and we feel blessed to have had quality time with nanny before she went up and through the pearly gates where she'd eat Christmas cake and ride around on a tricycle everyday (this was nanny's hope of heaven since childhood). We got to meditate on nanny's love and life in an intimate setting which we felt was a great privilege. Even Molly the dog got to visit the hospice to say bye to her mammy.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated
I've included information about Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation which I got from its website below.
Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation exists to fund palliative care services to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families in County Mayo and County Roscommon. The Service enables patients to live out the remainder of their lives in comfort and dignity. The Palliative Care Service is provided free of charge to all.
