Single mom out of work

Hi, my name is Martha. I’ma single mom of 5 amazing kids! In April I had surgery and have been unable to return to work because of residual pain from the surgery.

i put myself through nursing school after leaving an unhealthy relationship, worked hard to save money and buy a house. Now fear of putting food in the table is real! Being out of work for 3 months has depleted my savings and I’m worried about bills. I have applied for public assistance and gone to food shelves.

i have faith that my kids won’t go hungry out loose their home or our car.
