Recently, the Ebbets Field Tenant Organization's(EFTO) role in the community has changed.  We no longer offer services to just the Ebbets Field community, but also support an area comparable to the complex we call home.  With the onset of the pandemic, the rental of a UHaul truck became necessary to also ensure residents on Union Street, St. John’s Avenue, Rogers Avenue, and Clinton Hill were included in our support initiative.   In May, due to a change in funding, UHaul rentals are no longer subsidized. Without this funding, we are unable to conduct food deliveries –over 800 people have been affected. 

We are seeking financial support for a video conferencing subscription, printing services for more than 1000 bi-monthly newsletters, and weekly UHaul rentals.  These requests will continue informing tenants of their rights and enable them to remain connected with other community resources such as food delivery, these are the minimum necessities.

An additional bonus to having a  video conferencing subscription is knowing it can be used for our virtual bingo games – what a great distraction to those who wish to play and touch base with their community.
