Meghan's Children

Meghan Santiago, 33 years old, was 32 weeks pregnant when she was murdered by her husband, Meghan was a victim of domestic violence and had a plan to leave him on October 7th, 2021 when an incident in their family home on September 27th, 2021 occurred .

Meghan arrived at a trauma center with severe head trauma which required surgery to stop bleeding in her brain and an emergency C- section needed to be done to save the baby. Meghan was taken off life support on October 6th, 2021 and almost all her organs were able to be donated, some could even be used for children.

Meghan is survived by her three children, ages 7, 4, and 2 weeks, and her mother who has been recovering from a stroke for the last year. Her children are currently in the foster care system and the baby is still in the NICU. Meghan does not have siblings and her cousins are fighting to get the children placed with them.

This Go Fund Me is being created to help bring the children home to family and rebuild their life instead of being in the foster care system with strangers. Proceeds will assist the family in final expenses, attorney's fees and other needs and expenses that may incur in the future.
