Nowaczyk Van Fund

Hi,

I'm starting this campaign for one of my best friends, and his family. I'm doing this because I know he's too humble to publicly ask for help. AJ is the type of person you grow up wanting to be. Kind, patient, caring, fun, and an amazing role model for his family. AJ Nowaczyk and his wife Katrina are some of the nicest, and most caring people I've ever met. Both AJ and Katrina are the type of people who have an infectious positive personality and are extremely genuine. They'd give you their last $1 if you asked for it. AJ is a 7th and 8th grade science and math teacher at a small school, and as you know, teachers' salaries are abysmal, but that doesn't ever stop him from going above and beyond for his family. AJ and Katrina regularly foster children and are extremely active in community service. They give their time, and attention to making their community a better place, and I want to give back to them.

AJ and Katrina are currently in the process of adopting Mila. She was born with Microcephaly which is a rare nervous system disorder that causes a baby's head to be small and not fully developed. Because of this, Mila is blind, and wheelchair bound for life. They've also recently adopted an emotional support animal for Mila.

On top of the routine medical visits, the cost of care, and many curveballs life throws at you, AJ and Katrina need a van that can transport a wheelchair for Mila, and their family. Wheelchair accessible vans are CRAZY expensive, but AJ has found something used that will work and is relatively close to their budget. This is a fairly time sensitive purchase as the vehicle is being held for them under the assumption it's purchased in the next few weeks. I don't want them to take on excess debt for this purchase. That's where you come in!

I'm hoping to raise awareness and bless the Nowaczyks with any amount of money we can raise towards their van purchase. All of the proceeds for this fundraiser will go directly to the van purchase for Mila and the Nowaczyks.
