Nourish Our Neighbors Powerview-Pine Falls

In our small town of Powerview-Pine Falls, Manitoba, Canada which has only 1,200 people, there are at least 15 individuals who go days without a proper meal. These are our neighbors, many of them homeless or severely underprivileged, and they are struggling quietly with no consistent access to food, warm clothing, or even the basics for survival.

We want to change that one hot meal at a time.

Our Mission:

We’re raising funds to provide at least one hot, nutritious meal a day to the people in our community who need it the most. With your support, we plan to partner with local restaurants to prepare these meals, helping not just those in need, but also boosting our local economy.

Why We Need Your Help:

• There are no shelters, soup kitchens, or daily food services here. A small food bank operates once a week, but for someone without a kitchen or even a place to stay, dry goods and canned items aren’t much help.

• These 15 individuals represent just the ones we’ve identified there are likely more who are silently struggling.

The Numbers:

To feed 15 people one hot meal a day at $10 per meal, we need:

15 people x $10 x 30 days = $4,500/month

Every dollar helps. Whether it’s one meal or ten, your donation goes directly to filling an empty stomach and restoring a bit of dignity and warmth to someone’s day.

What Your Support Means:

• $10 = One hot meal

• $70 = A week of meals for one person

• $300 = A month of meals for one person

• $4,500 = A full month of meals for everyone we’ve identified so far

With additional funds, we hope to provide warm clothes, shoes, and hygiene items essentials that are often overlooked but deeply needed.
