We are, Jade (41) Bodhi (5) Canyon (3) Parker(7),Our comfort animal not pictured. This is extremely difficult for me to write. I am a private individual that finds it challenging to ask for help, but here goes. My life has been about kids. I have had the joy of helping to raise so many children. My education and work have been related to child development, child psychology and the Montessori Method. I am l continuously learning growing and modifying my ability to do my best in these areas. My goal has always been to raise my own children and put to use these skills. For the past 6 years I have been a stay at home mom raising Bodhi and Canyon. Meeting all of our financial obligations has been hard, but we agreed that the benefits of me being home, far outweighed the financial aspect. That is until now. on October 1st my partner moved out and had me served with papers demanding 50/50 custody of our 2 children. We had been having relationship problems but I was under the impression we were going to try compassionate Communication Classes and Counseling. Being served and seeing his intentions, broadsided me. Three weeks later I am being threatened,bullied and coerced into an unthinkable future. His Mom has moved here,so he can live rent free. In the meantime, he has ended our lease and made no living arrangements for me and the kids. He has pulled all money out of every account and has not paid agreed upon bills (ruining my good credit and putting the children’s education in jeopardy). I am securing a lawyer for our first court date which is November 13 and remain hopeful mediation is still a possibility. I am actively pursuing employment and a secure place to live. I am trying to move through this devastating time as gracefully as possible and doing my best to protect my children.If my story speaks to your heart and you are able, please help.
