Hi, our names are Skyla and Izzy, and we are Year 10 students at Northholm Grammar School. We are reaching out on behalf of our school community because we have been deeply inspired by the incredible work that the Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre (WAGEC) does to support women and children facing homelessness, domestic violence, and systemic disadvantage. We closely know people affected by this issue and it would mean the world to us to be able to support in any way possible.

We strongly believe in WAGEC’s mission to create safe spaces and opportunities for women and girls in need. That’s why we are proposing to host a series of fundraising events both at our school, alongside this GoFundMe campaign as our way of reaching out to the wider community. Through these events, we hope not only to raise much-needed funds, but also to collect essential supplies and help raise awareness for this important cause.
