While already in recovery for an injury following his 2 major surgeries, and therefore on unpaid medical leave, NBA was struck with 2 traumatic events within this last week. Firstly his adult son was in a fatal home fire last weekend that also caused massive damage to NBA's home. Then midweek while grieving he was assaulted causing multiple facial fractures and hospitalization.

NBA is currently staying with a brother from 52 and family but we would like to help him with the expenses of his son Carlos' memorial as well as getting back on his feet with his revolving bills like car insurance, phone, etc. so that he may regain some autonomy until he can get back to work. Our hope is that he can be back to work late January, early February if all goes well.

We realize that with the economy in the state that it is, most everyone is just trying to get from one day to the next, and therefore appreciate anything you can contribute that much more.
