Running 102 tough miles for Not a Gym - a new not for profit

This September, I’ll be attempting the longest single race of my life – the equivalent of almost four marathons in one run – in order to raise much needed funds for an exciting new, not-for-profit organisation here in Cornwall, Not a Gym.
It’s fair to say that this will push me beyond anything I’ll have ever known before. The run starts on Saturday 27 September and will end at some point on the Sunday 28th.
The reason for this run is because I believe wholeheartedly that movement has the power to change lives. I’ve set up an exciting community interest company that aims to improve the lives of people living with short- and long-term health conditions. For many of these people, physical activity can alleviate symptoms, lengthen their lives and improve their lives. And sadly there are too many people living in the south west with poor health outcomes, for whom their lives could be very different indeed.
Not a Gym starts delivering social, activity to people with short and long term health conditions in October and we really can’t wait to start changing lives. I know through my decades of work in the physical activity industry that even a little physical activity can make the biggest of differences to people who lead inactive lives. Can you help us?!
