Divaris Real Estate is participating in No-Shave November, a fundraiser to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free.

In memory of Alex Divaris, we ask you to help us raise money for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Alex was a Senior Vice President and Director of Creative Synergy at Divaris Real Estate, where he worked for 18 years. He helped launch CBDX in 2009, for the next generation of business people in the Central Business District Association, and Generation MOCA in 2013, to foster a new class of art supporters for the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art.

Friends and family said he championed the up-and-comers, the under-40 set who would eventually lead Hampton Roads if they weren’t already. After being diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer at age 38, he barely got to see 40. Alex displayed unwavering courage and strength as he faced his diagnosis, becoming even more of an inspiration to his family and friends. He leaves behind his loving wife, Emily, and two children, Gabriel and Hazel. Please help us honor his life by supporting this effort.
