In Celebration and Memory of Soren

In June, I will embark on a mission trip to Nosara, Costa Rica, alongside a dedicated team, joining forces with Mercy Homes Ministry to build homes for families in need. This endeavor is not just a project—it's a heartfelt tribute to my dear friend's son, Soren, whose legacy of kindness, adventure, and compassion continues to inspire.

Soren's spirit of generosity exemplified a commitment to serving others, whether it was packing food for Feed My Starving Children or swinging hammers with Mercy Homes Ministry. Now, it's our turn to carry forward his legacy by making a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Mercy Homes Ministry is an organization committed to empowering families by providing them with safe and secure housing, thereby improving their quality of life. With over 220 homes built to date, including 10 through Soren's family and friends. However, there's still much work to be done, as evidenced by the long waitlist of families in need of housing.

Our mission requires financial support to purchase the essential building materials necessary for constructing two homes. While the cost may seem daunting at first glance—$18,000 to build two houses—it's important to recognize the profound, life-changing impact that this investment will have on the families who will soon call these houses their homes.
