NORTH PRESTON SURF

Since 2019 the North Preston Surf program has continued to grow and evolve. What began as a pilot program introducting North Preston residents to surfing in the community has now welcomed hundreds of first-time surfers into the ocean.

Each season has brought new learning, growth, and challenges as we continue building a program rooted in access, culture, and community. As we continue to meet the needs of our community, we have been humbled by this journey and have experienced personal growth alongside the work itself.

Today, we continue to expand through partnerships with the Surf Association of Nova Scotia and Blxck House Life Studio, while deepening training, youth employment, and pathways into surf leadership.

We are grateful for the community that has carried this vision forward and continue to invite you to be part of the story as we grow.
