Hello, friends —
My name is Justin Cook, and I’m the founder of NorthEast Traditions. We’re more than just an outdoor group — we’re a close-knit community brought together by our love for hunting, wildlife, family, friendship, and the shared moments that make life meaningful.
This year, we’ve taken a step that’s especially close to our hearts. We’ve committed to giving back by supporting at least one charitable cause each year — a way to express our gratitude to the community that supports us and to remind ourselves that we’re all in this together.
In 2025, we’re honored to support Kelly’s Cause for Brain Tumors, a foundation started by Kelly in memory of her father, who passed away from a brain tumor in 2006. Since then, Kelly has turned her grief into a mission of hope — helping local families facing similar battles and raising funds for the National Brain Tumor Society to drive awareness, improve treatment options, and someday, find a cure.
This cause is deeply personal to me. I’ll be running in this year’s 5K in honor of a young family member who’s courageously fighting a brain tumor. Their journey — marked by hospital visits, travel across states, and constant uncertainty — has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. And still, they’ve chosen to run alongside me and others to support anyone on this path.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed the incredible strength and compassion of our community. You show up. You lift others. And you remind us what it means to stand together. My hope is that you'll join me in supporting this incredible cause — whether through a donation, spreading the word, or simply holding these families in your thoughts.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of something bigger. Thank you for caring. And may God bless you and your loved ones.
With gratitude,
Justin Cook
