Northeast Tacoma community,

The Brown family is a part of our Wolfpack and they need our help. Tim and Melissa have been a part of our community for many years. Both of their children have attended Northeast Tacoma. Melissa bravely battled cancer, quietly for years and sadly lost that battle last week. Her daughter still attends Northeast and her son is a student at Idea. Her husband, Tim Sr. has been battling his own illness for much of this school year. Tim's energy must be spent on healing his heart and his body while taking care of his children who grieve their mother and worry about their father's health. We can't bring Melissa back, we can't heal hurting hearts or keep cancer from impacting those that we care about, but we can show the Brown's what being a part of this pack really means. Any donation, no matter the size is a great gesture of support and love for this struggling family. We are all a family at Northeast, we take care of one another and the Brown's need us!
