Helping our local women's refuge provide family spaces

Hi there!

We're a group of colleagues who are dedicated to supporting NDAS (Northampton Domestic Abuse Service) and the incredible work they do for those in need. This wonderful charity have reached out to ask if we can help fundraise for some specific things that will improve the lives of the women and children who live there.

They’re looking to transform their garden into a serene oasis by adding beautiful plants and garden toys such as sand and water play tables.

Additionally, they aim to create a warm, family-friendly space within a conservatory for parents and children to reconnect and heal from the impact of domestic abuse. Things that would make this space better include:

+ a 2-seater sofa (in new or great condition, with fire safety tags attached)

+ a Kallax or similar storage unit with approximately 8 squares (in new or in great condition)

+ a rug (rectangle up to 2m long and approx. 1.4m wide or circular up to 1.5m)

+ a children’s table and chair set (in new or good condition)

And finally, some essentials for their kitchens.

+ casserole dishes – up to half a dozen

+ tupperware storage – a selection of sizes

Used is okay as long as it’s in good condition.
