North Greenford Football Club Lease Renewal

North Greenford United Football Club were founded in 1944. We have had a successful 80-year history within the football leagues. Currently our home games are played at Berkeley Fields Football Ground.

We are a non-profit organisation where all money generated is put directly back into the club for maintenance of the ground / player welfare (e.g. training ground hire in winter).

We pride ourselves on being a community inclusive ran football club, who are managed and have players all coming from the local boroughs.

We are affiliated to the Middlesex Football Association, also members of the Combined Counties League Football League, Premier Division North and the Allied Counties Youth League East Division.

The Club integrates with the local community providing assistance and facilities for the following:

• We encourage young footballers 16+ to trial for the team to try discouraging antisocial behaviour in the borough.

• We let the local special education school uses the club house for their events.

• We provide the club house for local residential meetings.

• We work with many local charities including collecting for the local Salvation Army winter food and clothing appeal.

• We currently collect for Ealing food bank in conjunction with the local counsellors who we have a great relationship with.

• We currently engage with the North Greenford wildlife awareness projects.

• We hold a summer Art Fair inclusive of live workshops/classes free for local residents

• We provide free football equipment to local youth teams to assist them as we know the financial pressure of providing for a football club.

The club have been located at Berkley Fields for the last 22 years and have 3 years remaining. We require our lease to be renewed to secure the future of the football club. Securing a new 25 year lease opens up the opportunity of further funding from the FA and Football foundation to allow the club to achieve its short and long terms goals.

We are an ambitious club who strive to always better ourselves and community, under our new chairman we have set a 5-year plan which consists of the following aspirations:

• Developing a North Greenford United Women’s team

• Provides opportunity of funding from the FA/Football Foundation

• Upgrading the clubs sustainability credentials

• Improve the Clubhouse facilities/Changing rooms/Stands for the player and community.

• Upgrading the facilities which are being used by the local community.
