Hi, we are North Berwick New Year Community Ceilidh.

Almost two years ago, inspired by the Pitlochry New Year Street Party, an idea was sparked 'what if we could have something like that here?'

We wanted to have an outdoor Ceilidh, and it was important that this would be a completely free event to attend, for all the family.

So, with zero budget we went about trying to make that happen.

There was a lot to learn, but somehow even with the weather doing it's worst at the last minute, the inaugural North Berwick New Year Community Ceilidh actually happened! And it was amazing!

We had two brave and supportive sponsors in Howard Selby Auto Services and The Stella Moffat Trust, and on the day the generous community of North Berwick, who donated into our buckets.

Due to your generosity on the day and here on this site, we are delighted to be able to hold it again on NYD 2026! Our dream of it becoming an annual community event actually starting to come true.

We have decided to keep this go-fund-me open as there is still a shortfall even with the generosity of sponsors.
