Norma Lotsof is an 85-year-old woman who has dedicated her life to finding a cure for drug addiction alongside her late husband, Howard Lotsof. Howard is widely recognized as a beloved trailblazing researcher who pioneered the use of Ibogaine as a novel modern medicinal approach to treating substance addiction.

Together, Howard and Norma's life's work has been groundbreaking in the field of addiction treatment, helping thousands of people detox from opiates, treat stimulant addiction, PTSD, and regain control of their lives. Despite their impact, they did not receive any monetary gain for all of their work.

We now turn to you, a community of people inspired by their outstanding scientific discoveries and dedication, to help support Norma in managing her current difficult circumstances.

Since losing Howard to liver cancer 13 years ago, Norma has been facing a multitude of challenges on her own. She now finds herself in a dire financial situation and is in urgent need of financial assistance to achieve a number of important goals. Norma is currently dealing with multiple serious medical issues and must also find a new apartment in Brooklyn for her safety; to do so, she needs to move out of her current home. She also requires funding for the preservation and digitization of her and Howard’s research over the many years. Moreover, Norma needs to secure and cover long-term help with her apartment, ensuring that she can live out her remaining years with the comfort and dignity that she deserves.

Our goal is to raise $60,000+ to cover Norma's immediate expenses and provide her with long-term financial stability. The worldwide Ibogaine treatment community owes its existence to Howard and Norma Lotsof, and we must ensure that Norma is cared for.
