Hi, my name is Sheri and I have been Norah's English tutor for the past 6 years. Her goal has been to earn her Canadian Citizenship so she could go back home to reunite with her Mom.

She achieved her citizenship in 2023.

After being apart for 25 years, Norah is finally going home to South Sudan to visit her mom. This journey is very emotional and financially difficult for Norah. She is filled with joy to be reunited with her mom, and at the same time sadness as her mom needs a new roof on her home and the extra journey to visit her brother’s graves may not be financially achievable.
