- UPDATE!! Sorry have not updated for awhile. So here is an update on how Nora is doing. She is currently still at home, and is stable. We are thankful that she has been able to stay in the comfort of her home with her daughter so far. She has started chemotherapy and radiation, she has been twice already. She has been diagnosed with Spindal Cell Mesenchymal Neoplasm. It is a very rare but aggressive cancer, unfortunately only a 10 to 18% chance that chemo or treatment will help in any way. But we are remaining hopeful. Like I said before it has spread to her lungs. I admire Nora's strength and honestly there has been 0 complaints from her. She is such a remarkable person. Please if you can continue to share this post and keep those prayers coming for her and her daughter.

- Hi my name is Amanda and I'm starting a GoFundMe for my Aunt Nora and cousin Jenny who is 15 years old.They have been hit with a few years of tragedy and now have received some devastating news. Nora's husband and Jenny's dad, my Uncle Manuel lived in Bassano for many years. My Uncle worked and Nora stayed home and did some side cleaning jobs. Three years ago my Uncle Manuel passed away tragically while away at work. Unfortunately since he was the breadwinner, and other debts that needed to be paid off, Nora and Jenny had to sell everything and move to Brooks to start over. Nora had to find more full time work to support herself and Jenny. Which is very hard now a days. May 14th Nora went in to Emergency she was having some pain in her abdomen, which she thought was possibly women issues. But sadly not the case, she has a tumor and it has spread up to her lungs and she now has stage 4 Cancer. Not only is the family in shock but heart broken at how this young, sweet, God loving lady could have this happen to her. And just after losing her husband and everything. Nora does not have any family in this area except a few of us. She will need help as she is unable to work and has already been off for awhile. It takes time to apply for Aish or other supports and she will need help with funds for travel to appointments, rent, bills, food etc. If you have any extra even if a few dollars, if you can please donate. There is a lot of things to maneuver through at this point and we honestly have so much faith but not sure from day to day how things will go. She is fighting off an infection right now as we speak .Please private message me if you would like to help in other ways.
