I’m excited to launch a new monthly giving campaign just for Northern Colorado, inspired by Kyle Clark, the news anchor from 9News Denver, and his microgiving campaign called “Your Word of Thanks.” It’s called NoCo Neighbors Give, and the idea is simple: small donations from a lot of people can make a big impact for those who need it most in our community.

Each month, I’ll spotlight a local nonprofit doing vital work. For June, we’re supporting Crossroads Safehouse, which provides emergency shelter and support services for survivors of domestic violence.

This is a microgiving campaign, so I’m only asking for up to $5—just the cost of a cup of coffee. If enough of us pitch in, we can create real change for our neighbors.
