Did you know that less than 4% of boys ever reach the rank of Eagle Scout? With your help, I can become an Eagle Scout!
I am Noah S. Diodonet, a senior at West Milford High School and a Boy Scout with Troop 159 in Hewitt, NJ.
I've been scouting since the first grade and have had the goal of becoming an Eagle Scout.
I am excited to announce that I have been permitted by BSA to begin my Eagle Scout Project! BUT I NEED YOUR HELP TO BECOME AN EAGLE SCOUT AND HELP MY SCHOOL COMMUNITY!
Family and Friends,
MY EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT: Renovating the West Milford High School & Jr. Highlander Shot Put Pit
The current shot put facility is located behind the athletic field, making it nearly invisible to the spectators who want to watch this sport that I'm so passionate about. Unfortunately, the area has fallen into disrepair; it regularly floods and lacks any seating for fans or family members who want to enjoy the events.
My project will involve clearing an overgrown area near the shot put field and installing outdoor benches for athletes and spectators. I'll also excavate the existing shot put field and replace it with gravel that meets New Jersey High School Athletic Association standards.
Upon completion, the facility will meet all relevant competition standards and regulations. This renovation will not only give our school a better chance to compete at higher levels but will also attract more fans to the sport, creating a proper venue that our track and field programs deserve.
Please consider donating any amount.
Thank you!
