Please Help Bring My Sister Home so She Can Fight Cancer with Her Family By Her Side.

Hi, my name is Kerry, and I am fundraising to help my sister, Ailsa, and her two young boys return home to Sheffield. Just weeks ago, Ailsa received the devastating diagnosis of breast cancer, and she has already begun an incredibly tough treatment plan that includes chemotherapy, surgery, and targeted radiotherapy.

She has a long and difficult road ahead, and she shouldn't have to walk it alone.

Five years ago, Ailsa moved to South Wales. She is now raising her boys as a single mum, completely isolated from her friends, her family, and support network she desperately needs. Despite months of trying to secure social housing, she has been forced into private renting because of long waiting lists. This has put her under enormous financial pressure at the very moment when she is unable to work and needs stability more than ever.

The reality is heartbreaking:

Ailsa is undergoing gruelling chemotherapy that leaves her extremely unwell, exhausted, and dealing with horrendous side effects-yet she must still push through every single day to care for her children on her own. The stress, the fear, and the overwhelming loneliness are taking their toll. She is fighting to stay strong for her boys. But she cannot continue to do this without support.

A full move back to Sheffield-closer to her family, her friends, and people who love her-would give her the emotional and practical help she needs to focus on her treatment and recovery. But the cost of moving such long distance is huge, and completely out of reach for her right now. Moving house is difficult for anyone- but doing it while facing Cancer, unemployed, on benefits, and caring for two young children alone is almost impossible.

This is why I am asking for help.

Every donation- no matter how small-will go directly to helping Ailsa move home, so she can recieve the support she urgently needs during the biggest fight of her life. We want her to be able to focus on getting better, to have people around her who can help with the children, and give her the best possible chance of recovery. Most of all, we want her to be here- healthy and strong- to watch her boys grow up.
