My name is Keyonna “Key” Watts, founder of ‘Key to the Streets’. This mission isn’t something I dreamt overnight; It’s personal. Key’s Kitchen is now Key to the Streets!!

In 2021, I spent a night sleeping outside. While I would never claim to fully understand what people experiencing homelessness face every single day, that one night gave me a glimpse of how vulnerable, uncertain, and invisible a person can feel without the security of a place to call home. I never forgot that feeling. From that day forward, I knew that if God ever gave me the opportunity, I wanted to become part of the solution.

That’s why I created Key to the Streets. Our mission is simple:

Feed people experiencing homelessness and help stock shelters and food pantries so they can continue serving those in need.

Every meal we serve says, “We see you.”

Every donated item says, “You matter.”

Every act of kindness reminds someone that hope still exists. This isn’t just about food. It’s about restoring dignity. It’s about showing compassion without judgment.
