The ESEA community in the UK and across the world has faced hard times recently due to the rise in hate crimes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In a fight against the hate, Rice is Rice podcast is hosting a 24 hour charity livestream. Yes, 24 hours.
From 24th April Saturday 3pm Rice is Rice podcast will stream for a consecutive 24 hours to the world in an attempt to raise awareness and funds for organisations directly affected and fighting the effects of anti ESEA racism.
The livestream will be joined by friends and guests as we talk about life, love, food and anything we find ourselves on as well as bring attention to what is happening in the BESEA community right now. Like Red Nose Day or a marathon, as the stream goes on a donate button/link will be set up so people watching are able to give money while they enjoy interviews, performances, mukbangs and more...
The three organisations we would support are Kanlungan, End The Virus Of Racism and Hackney Chinese Community Services
