My name is Fikri Al-Bassiouni, and I am from Gaza.

I created this fundraiser for myself and my wife, Sally Al-Bassiouni. We are a newly married couple living in Gaza. We are not affiliated with any organization, charity, or political group. We are simply two ordinary civilians who lost everything due to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Before the crisis, I worked as a construction laborer, and Sally helped support us with small local work. We had been engaged for years. Despite the deep sadness of losing many of our loved ones, we chose to hold onto love and got married during this difficult time.

Shortly after our marriage, we lost our home and everything we owned. We now live in a small, fragile tent that lacks basic necessities — no steady food, no clean water, no electricity, no income, and no real shelter.

This fundraiser is personal and independent — not connected to any organization or group.

We are asking for help to:

• Rent a small place to live

• Buy basic items (mattress, gas stove, fan, clothing)

• Access food and clean water

• Cover basic healthcare if needed

Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a big difference in our lives.
