NO hair coz we CARE!
Donation protected
Hey Friends!! Jess and Abbey here. This February we will both be shaving off all our hair to raise money and awareness for Alopecia and Breast Cancer.
One of our closest friends Celine was diagnosed with alopecia when she was 10 years old. Alopecia is an autoimmune disease where hair stops growing, causing baldness or loss of hair in certain areas.
Going into high school, Celine wore wigs to cover up her hair loss on her head. She was afraid of what people would say; partly due to the limited awareness for Alopecia and what it is. Today, Celine no longer wears wigs and wants all young girls with Alopecia to know that it’s ok to be bold and secure within yourself- with or without hair!
We can both honestly say Celine is one of the bravest people we know- living life without hair on your head especially as a girl is not easy!!
We are also raising money for Breast Cancer as both of us have family members who have been previously affected by it and would like to raise money to help support families impacted by the cancer. Our hair will also be donated to make wigs for kids with cancer.
If you are willing, any donations to support us and therefore these causes would be much appreciated. We will be shaving our heads on February 16, so any time before then would be ideal if you would like to donate. Thank you so much :)
