"No Child Should Sleep Outside!" – Support Mary’s Place
Tax deductible
Hi, we are JUNIOR ATHLETES FOR COMMUNITY (JAC) – Seattle Chapter, a youth-led group of student-athletes dedicated to building strength through sports and heart through community service. From supporting neurodivergent youth with inclusive activities to creating care boxes for people facing homelessness or hardship, we strive to uplift our community through meaningful action.
This summer, along with our ongoing service efforts, we especially hope to support children and mothers living in women’s shelters — many of whom are experiencing homelessness. Hearing the stories of children and youth going through such instability has deepened our commitment to help. We want to be part of a community that sees them, supports them, and gives them hope.
That’s why we’re organizing a community yard sale on July 18–19 in Auburn, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Mary’s Place Seattle, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making sure no child sleeps outside. To expand our impact, we’ve also created this online donation page for those who wish to contribute beyond the yard sale or prefer to give digitally.
All donations through this page go straight to Mary’s Place and do not pass through us.
Your contribution will help:
- Provide safe emergency shelter, warm meals, and clean beds for families with children facing homelessness.
- Deliver essential support services like housing assistance, job placement, healthcare, and recovery programs to help families regain stability.
- Create spaces where children can feel safe, play, and be kids again — even during the most difficult times.
Every donation brings us one step closer to a community where every child has a bed, and every family has a chance to rebuild.
Thank you for standing with us and for helping spread hope in our city.
With gratitude,
The JAC Seattle Team
