A local volunteer who helps at a food bank at Winstanley School in Braunstone shared something heartbreaking — 14 children need help, but there simply isn’t enough food to go around.

Every Friday, her sister helps out there, and last week she saw just how ashamed and quiet these children felt when asking for food. It’s devastating to think that local kids are going hungry, not because of choice, but because there just aren’t enough support and donations.

We’re raising funds to buy essential, long-lasting food such as rice, pasta, tinned goods, cereals, and healthy snacks — things that will last and truly make a difference.
