I want to stop the Fire Mountain Farms application of sludge and biosolids on 128th Street in the Bald Hills. This site is right next to the Nisqually River at a critical resting place  for endangered Chinook Salmon and Steelhead. The Fire Mountain Farms corporation has a decades-long history of adding industrial waste to their biosolids and having its sites shut down. Please donate to my effort.
I am Ed Kenney and I live in the Bald Hills. Being a charter member of the Nisqually Land Trust and an active member of the Nisqually Delta Association and Nisqually River Council, I have spent three decades working to keep our river clean and its fish runs healthy. I was also one of the organizers of Nisquallly Valley Neighbors in 1988, the group that defeated a similar hazardous proposal just up the hill of this 128th St site. This new Fire Mountain Farms biosolids proposal threatens everything I and my friends have worked for. Accordingly, I have hired Wyatt Golding of the Ziontz/Chestnut law firm to help us defeat this dangerous proposal by the unsavory FMR waste haulers. Thank you all for your amazing support the last two day!. We have until February 13th to stage the first phase of our resistance.
