Hi, I am Riyns oldest sister. As some of you may know, Riyn was just diagnosed with chiari malformation 1.5. This is a more severe case. We weren’t expecting this news. within the next 2 weeks riyn will undergo brain surgery to try and resolve this and manage her pain. She will be in the ICU for a few days. they’re expecting she will be at children’s for about a week or longer. recovery time after this surgery will be 6-8 weeks. given this, my mom and riyns dad will be missing a lot of work to care for her and make it to her appointments. My sister is my bestfriend and I only want what is best for her and my family. And i’m going to try to do whatever it takes to make this process as easy as possible for me and my family.
