Help Ryan & Jenni grow their family

Donation protected
My name is Charlie Rae Thompson, I am Ryan & Jenni's "furbaby."  I am writing this because I know they love me very much, treat me as if I were their own child, and very much want our family to grow.  I can Feel the struggle and emptiness they have not being able to make our family whole.  Here's their story;

Ryan met Jenni when she was almost 18 and he had just turned 20.  Early on they both knew this was something special.  After six years together they were married in August 2008.  From the begining they knew a big family was in the future!  However, Jenni was still in nursing school and Ryan was just begining his career with a new employer.  So the family would be put on hold.

After a couple of years in 2010 Jenni was finished with nursing school and had been off birth control, by her doctor's orders, for almost a year.  Ryan was slowly moving up in his career and it seemed like the right time to start making our family whole.  About six months went by with no luck.  Jenni's doctor then prescribed her Clomid, a fertility medication that stimulates ovulation.  Ryan was also ordered to have a sperm count done.  His results came back 100% normal (I've heard Jenni say he's got "studs!").  Doctor told them with the Clomid and knowing Ryan was working properly, that they would have no problems getting pregnant quickly.  Several months later and no results, the doctor switched  Jenni  to a stronger fertility medication, Fermara.  After a few months with no luck and terrible side effects, Jenni went back to Clomid but in a stronger dose.

Just over two years of multiple drugs and tests with no results it was time for serious measures.  Jenni underwent a laporoscopic surgery to see why they were having problems.  The doctor found some endometriosis and a blocked fallopian tube, possibly from an eptopic pregnancy.  The doctor cleaned up the endometriosis and unblocked the tube and the surgery went well.  Now there should be no problems but doctor kept Jenni on low dose of Clomid just to help the cause.

Almost seven months after surgery, with no pregnancies, they had their first appointment with fertility specialists at UIHC.  The specialist tested them both and said that IUI (Intrauterine Insemination) was the next logical step.

Three rounds of IUI, three months, and all our savings plus some later and still nothing.  Ryan and Jenni were devestated, exhausted, and mentally and phyically needed a break.  The doctor agreed.

A couple months later they began to explore another option, adoption.  They looked into several different agencies, never moving past anything more than preliminary papers, because they knew IVF (In-vitro Fertilization) is stil an option.

I really hope this isn't where my humans' story ends.  Please help my Mom and Dad give me a baby brother or sister.  So I have someone else to blame my acidents on, someone to feed me from the table, and someone else to love and protect.

Thank you all and God bless you!
