Hi everyone, I’m usually the struggle in silence type person…but I’ve reached more than I can bare. Baby Kaden was one month old when he came in contact with Salmonella Meningitis. Still unsure of the source, as his formula came up negative. He’s been hospitalized at VCU for the last month. He has inflammation in his brain and spinal cord, Diabetes Insipidus, Seizures, the damage to his brain may result in him not being able to walk and he has a pus pocket on his brain that may require cranial surgery to be drained.
Due to being on Short Term Disability, I was only receiving 60% of my pay which was already lowered due to not being able to maintain my position while pregnant. So bills have unfortunately come behind now that my time has run out. The funds would help with medical bills, rent, utilities/bills, gas for my car to safely travel back and forth to see my baby.
