This GoFundMe campaign is created to honor the memory of Nitaya Algeria, a beloved mother, friend, and pillar of her family, who will be disconnected from life support on June 16, 2025, after a severe asthma attack. Nitaya leaves behind her two children, Richard (14) and Nevaeh (17), and a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her.

Nitaya battled asthma for many years. On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, she suffered a massive asthma attack and was rushed to St. Bernardine's Hospital. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, she required a ventilator as she had no pulse and was unresponsive. Nitaya selflessly chose to became an organ donor, and her organs will save the lives of approximately 50 people on June 16, 2025 when the machines go off.
