Alpine, AZ has a human population of approx 176. The hometown of the Alpine wild horses is TINY where the humans live but their Apache Sitgreaves National Forest, where their remaining herd roams freely (but sadly not safely after 38 have been found shot to death and approx 15 are still missing/presumed dead), is gigantic and glorious. We've been doing our very best to find good homes for the Alpine wild horses who've been captured and then put on the auction block for 4 weekends in a row. It's a monumental task and we are SO very grateful for each human/family who has stepped up to adopt ANY of the Alpine wild horses. One of the biggest heroes has been Kourtney and her Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary who have given the Divine9Alpines a forever home. The beautiful Alpine wild horse herd NEEDS our voices to unite and fight for them! Our country and the world should know their story and WE are the ones who can show their faces and share their horrific story of survival, capture, rescue/adoption and devastating death. They need us to stay strong and fight for them TOGETHER!

Please continue to call/email/write your legislature and representatives. The government laws & policies MUST change in order to ensure the wild horse's safety.

Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary has taken in 9 Divine Alpine wild horses in the last few weeks. The Divine 9 made their way up to Mancos, CO by way of the AMAZING Freedom Flyer transport duo and are at their new forever home with Kourtney at Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary. In just a few days of living at Nirvana, all but 2 of the Alpine wild horses were eating out of Kourtney's hand. Talk about building trust, showering them with love and allowing them peace and patience settling into their new home. You can SEE for yourself that they are in the best home possible after being auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Our original Gofundme has already paid for the original fundraiser to build fencing for the 1st 9.5 acre pasture where the Divine9Alpine's will live. This NEW Gofundme is ESSENTIAL and URGENT as Nirvana is in a location where it snows A LOT and if they can get to work on the 2nd new pasture before true winter settles in, then they'll be READY to rescue and offer sanctuary to MANY more Alpine wild horses. If they DON'T have the funding to buy materials, rent the machinery, buy another 1-2 humungous water troughs and also build a shelter, then they CANNOT offer rescue/sanctuary to ANY MORE Alpine wild horses. THIS.....IS HOW Y'ALL CAN HELP SAVE ALPINE WILD HORSES FROM UNKNOWN FATES IN THE COMING AUCTIONS AND ENSURE THEY GO TO THE MAGICAL NIRVANA MUSTANG SANCTUARY WITH THE #DIVINE9ALPINES. This fundraiser goal is 10,000 and will fund a 2nd pasture that can be the new home to MORE Alpine wild horses who will be auctioned off anytime in the near future. We DO NOT KNOW when the next auction will be but we DO KNOW there ARE more Alpine's that have been captured and are unkowingly awaiting their turn to be run through the auction. Our best hope right now is to HELP NIRVANA build their fence...they have SO MUCH LAND and are already IN LOVE with these Alpines.

Nirvana has shown their true love of wild horses by rescuing horses outside of their home state of Colorado. Kourtney's, Nirvana's founder (and in my humble opinion a magical horse whisperer), has a vision that includes rescuing the wild horses who are in need and who cross her path. She had already rescued 9 OTHER BLM mustangs before embarking on this journey to help the Alpine wild horses.

The Divine9Alpines will be moving into their own new 9.5 acre pasture very soon. The humans at Nirvana are working very hard to finish their pasture soon! Once this project is complete, their next goal is to build a 2nd pasture w fencing & a shelter so that they can rescue and offer forever sanctuary to many more of our amazing Alpine wild horse herd.

Nirvana has 160 acres to build on….let’s help the wild horses by helping them fence their property n welcome in new wild horse rescues, including our beloved Alpine wild horse herd!!!
