Nina's Legacy

As some of you know sadly last year, our worlds came crashing down when we lost my beautiful Auntie Nina who was just 52 years of age. She was beautiful inside and out and she really was the life and soul of the party . Nina had two beautiful children, Lauren who was 27 at the time and Pregnant with her first child and Rocco who was 14. We are all extremely close, and she has left a huge void in all of our lives.

My lovely Auntie was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer & on the 19th January 2024 she went in for an operation to remove the tumour but unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. During surgery they discovered that the cancer had spread and there wasn’t much more they could do. Sadly, our beautiful Nina gained her wings on the 26th February 2024 leaving us all in complete shock and truly heartbroken.

I made a promise to my auntie that I would run a Marathon in her honour. After being unsuccessful with entering the London marathon, I decided to run the next best thing….A Half Marathon!! Which I will be running in Cambridge on Sunday 9th March. Rather than a charity, I'm hoping to raise some money for my beautiful cousins, Lauren, Rocco and of course beautiful baby Charlie that sadly my Auntie never got to meet. I am so proud of you all.

These funds will be put towards having a comforting place to visit and a place of rest for my lovely Aunties ashes. Having the financial support to give Lauren and Rocco options to decide of the best place would mean the world to them and me. So if you can please give as little or as much as you can to support my lovely cousin Lauren who is not only a new mum to Charlie, but has a new parental role to Rocco, I would really appreciate it.
