Nina's Fund to Volunteer in Hawaii!

Hello!

My name is Nina Schiller and I'm currently a junior at Penn State University, majoring in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. This summer I have the opportunity to embark on a trip to Hawaii with a nonprofit organization called Give Volunteers, where I will be spending 9 days learning about Hawaii's culture and history, participating in forest restoration, marine conservation, and regenerative farming projects. Within these endeavors I will also get to explore Hawaiian beaches, walk across a solidified lava lake, snorkel with fish and coral, stargaze at one of the most beautiful spots in Hawaii, and hike through rainforests to waterfalls, hot springs, and caves.

In order to go, I need fundraise the majority of the money! I am of course contributing to the trip price with my own savings, but due to being a full time student and financial reasons, I would not be able to afford the full price of this volunteer trip. The trip price includes everything besides transportation, from Pennsylvania to Hawaii and back, which I also included in my fundraising goal. This is a wonderful, once in a lifetime opportunity, where I can act out my lifelong passion for helping animals and the earth, and gain some educational knowledge on the land of Hawaii and how we can help the Earth in general .
