Nikolai Puc' | Operation Smile Trip
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Nikolai Puc' and I am a 17 year old photographer from Denver, CO. My passion in life is using my talents for photography to tell the stories of those around the world who are struggling and suffering from poverty and homelessness. My love of photography has allowed me to travel the world. While on these photographic expeditions, I have had the opportunity to use my skills to provide images and video to charitable organizations.
Over the last three years, I was able to travel to China, Ecuador and Nepal to help CCAI, Dando Amor and Help the Journey by creating images and video for them. Each organazation has been able to use my work to raise awareness for their charities, and for use on web and social media.
I was recently offered the opportunity to travel to Madagascar to work for a charitable organization called Operation Smile for PPA Charities. Operation Smile provides free health services and surgeries for impoverished children and young adults suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate. The images captured there will be used to publish a book that will raise funds and awareness to the cause.
This is my senior year of high school and potentially my last opportunity to offer up my talents abroad before I go to college. I would like to do this with my mother, as she has been an important part of my travels and the charitable work that I have grown to love. Thanks to her guidance, I will be working towards a specialized college degree in Philanthropic Photography and I hope to use my talents in the future to make the world a better place.

I am ready and willing to volunteer my time to help these children in need. Unfortunately, my budget for airfare has been depleted from the past few year's operations. All of those trips were done as a volunteer and I earned the money myself. Because this opportunity has such short notice, I have decide to ask for donations from people like you to help me get to Madagascar.
My goal is to raise $5000 by April 1st, 2016 to pay for 2 plane tickets and lodging for myself and my mother, Sandy Puc'.

Anyone who knows my mother, knows that she lives to serve those less fortunate. Between giving of her own time and money to travel the world, taking pictures for free, raising her own four children and taking in more than 40 foster children over the last few decades, nothing brings my mom and me more joy than to make someone feel loved.
We would be honored to work with Operation Smile and provide beautiful images to further the work. Any money donated that exceeds what is needed for our travel expenses will be donated to Operation Smile.
Please help us get to Madagascar. We would be so incredibly grateful to you for your generous donation. To see more of my work go HERE .
Thank You.
