Nikki’s new rehabilitation chair
Donation protected
Many of you know Nikki’s journey. After a significant brain surgery followed by a stroke during the early days of COVID-19, she faced numerous challenges due to limited access to physical therapy. Since moving to Traverse City, Nikki has made remarkable progress. She can now use a hemiwalker, transfer between chairs and cars, and is nearing the completion of her training for a new power chair.
Our latest challenge was finding a suitable lift chair for Nikki, one that could specifically elevate her left leg to aid in her recovery and manage her fibromyalgia. Thanks to the personalized service at Thompson’s Pharmacy, we’ve found the perfect solution—a custom-fit lift chair with a zero-gravity position to alleviate her discomfort.
However, the chair comes at a substantial cost—$2,252.25 after discounts. We are reaching out to our community for any possible assistance or guidance on funding options. Your support or advice would be immensely appreciated. Thank you so much for your continued kindness and help.
