Nigel's first charity mountain climb!

Having spent the last near 60 years actively avoiding climbing hills, even to the point of moving to Lincolnshire where there aren’t any, I find myself volunteering to climb Ben Nevis on the 5th anniversary of me joining the Lincolnshire House community

I’ve worked there as “the handyman” three days a week since 2020 and it’s been a huge learning curve for me personally into the care sector and I’m hoping this mammoth effort of mine will persuade, cajole or even guilt you into helping me raise a decent amount to help them out

Lincolnshire House is a registered charity based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, providing residential, day and respite care services for adults with Cerebral Palsy and Similar Disabilities. We provide high quality residential accommodation for 35 residents with day and 2 respite care facilities for people who have some form of Cerebral Palsy. Our aim is to provide as full and varied a life as possible for people in our care.

The climb is on June 21st so a huge thank you from me if you could click the link and support me.. No matter how small an amount, every little helps (but dig deep obviously)

I cannot promise any great marketing incentives for corporate sponsorships but sometimes it’s just nice to be nice and give a bit back

Sincerely
An aging, slightly arthritic bloke who may regret this
