Nicole's House of Hope

Nicole's House of Hope provides services and resources to individuals who are suffering due to mental health issues, chemical addiction, and homelessness to become productive and self-sufficient members of society.   We lead with dignity, respect, authentic commitment and collaborative strength. Our organization provides shelter in the form of individual homes designated for men only and women only.  These homes are primarily located in West End Atlanta.  Instead of providing the type of shelter that resembles traditional temporary shelters, our goal is to provide an actual home environment that will honor these individuals. These homes require furniture, furnishings, appliances, cleaning equipment, supplies, etc. 
 
This is an annual campaign to raise funds to support our mission to provide shelter, transportation, clothing, assistance with care for mental health, rent, utilities and other related expenses.  In-kind donations that are consistent with our mission are also welcomed.  We are in need of these items (new or used):

·      Dining room tables and chairs

·      Twin Sheets and Bedding
·      Mattress Covers
·      Blankets
·      Shower Curtains
·      Dressers
·      End Tables
·      Mops, Brooms and Cleaning Supplies

Jessica's Story

Hi,

My name is Jessica and I am a former client of Nicole's House of Hope. I transitioned on October 17th, 2020.  My experience was hands on.  Yolanda personally picked me up and brought me to a safe haven where I was able to establish a foundation for mental wellness, physical wellness, love and support.     

Nicole's House of Hope's staff and team members played a humongous role in my well-being and ultimately my success story. Yolanda embraced me like I was her own family and that went a long way. We are still thriving together. She met me where I was at and helped me to budget my money.  I received guidance on how to obtain housing.  I learned how to  sort out my goals one by one.  This helped me to assume the responsibility of being a single mother, gaining back full custody of my daughter.

Since then Yolanda has advocated for me and been by my side. There is nothing that she wouldn't do for me as long as I continue to put one foot in front of the other. This establishment gave me a roadmap to accomplish what was hopeless to hopeful.

Since successfully leaving Nicole's House of Hope one year ago, I am proud to say I am now an employee with Nicole's House of Hope as a Residential Manager. This position keeps me grounded.  It was ordained that  Yolanda and I met.   She has been a great leader in my life and I would recommend this program to anyone who is ready to live life on life's terms and allow help to help.
